Orders
Can I change or cancel my order once Submitted?
Once your order is placed it is put into our orders inbox ready to be reviewed and then sent electronically to our warehouse for pick, pack and shipping.
Because we strive to process orders as quickly as possible, this means that in some cases it may only be a matter of hours from the time you place your order to the time it is shipped.
Until your order is submitted to the warehouse we can make changes to it, but unfortunately after this point we cannot change or cancel it.
If you have placed an order and you wish to change or cancel it, please call us immediately (or if you order out of our business hours: Mon - Fri 9am to 5pm Adelaide time - then call as soon as we reopen) on (08) 8463 1191 and hopefully we will be able to accommodate your request before the order is submitted for dispatch.
Please DO NOT EMAIL us with your request, as it is quite possible that your email will not be opened prior to the order being submitted to the warehouse.
How do I go about getting a Tax Invoice?
As soon as your order has been processed, you will receive a tax invoice to your nominated billing email address. Should you require another copy simply sign in to your account and your historical orders will be displayed.

How many bottles can you fit in each carton?
We can usually fit 20 mixed bottles per carton, however it completely depends on the bottle sizes ordered.
Can I purchase your items from your premises directly, or do you only sell from your website?
At this early stage, our website is essentially our shop window. However we certainly have plans to open a physical store in Adelaide in the future. We do however offer pickup from our warehouse in Thebarton. Simply place your order online and select PICKUP as the shipping method, complete the order process as per usual and we will notify you once your order is ready to pickup (within 48 hours).

Click Login in the top right-hand corner of the page.
If you have established that it is not a Login Password issue. Then it could be a problem with your browser's cookies, which are small pieces of information remembered by your computer, such as your sign-in details. Our website uses a cookie on your computer to remember who you are. You can fix this by deleting the cookie on your computer for "Adelaide Bier Shop". Simply follow these steps:
1. Close Internet Explorer.
2. Click on the Start button -> then Search
3. Select "All Files and Folders"
3. Type cookies into the first Search box -> then click the Search button
4. You will see a few of the search results, which show folders called Cookies.
5. Open the first Cookies folder, and delete any files which mention oo.com.au.
6. Go back and repeat the process for every Cookies folder in your search results.
This should fix the problem, however if the problem continues, you should try downloading Firefox. It is a popular and free browser alternative and is fast to download. http://www.getfirefox.com/
I have forgotten my Login, can you help me?
After your first failed login attempt, click the Recover Password button that appears only once the incorrect details have been entered. Then enter your valid e-mail address (the one you used for registration). Your login details will then be sent to that valid address automatically.
How do I register as a new customer?
Click on Signup in the top right-hand corner of the page and fill in the form that pops up. We only ask for basic details (we leave the handling of your credit card details upto ANZ bank at time of checkout).
How do I change my email address on my account?
Once you are logged in you can edit all of your details (except for your username) by clicking Modify Profile in the bottom left of the page. If you wish to edit your username, please email your request to info@adelaidebiershop.com.au.
Delivery
What if I am not at home when you deliver my goods?
As all our parcels are sent as registered and insured we require a signature upon delivery. Our delivery contractors (Australia Post and various couriers) typically deliver during business hours so if you are not expecting to be home during these hours, we suggest, if practical, to provide your work address as the delivery address.
Delivery is usually attempted straight to your door. If there is no one available to sign for the delivery, or if the local postal service does not offer this direct service, then a Card will be left in your mailbox advising you of either a post office to collect your parcel from, or in the case of a courier delivery, a contact number to call to re-arrange the delivery.
When will my order be shipped?
Once payment has been received in full, your order will normally be delivered within 5 business days. After your order has been processed, you will receive an email saying your order has been 'Processed'. You will then receive another email saying your order has been 'Completed'. This second email will also contain a Tracking Number for your order. You can then track your order via http://www.auspost.com.au/track/
If you have not received your order within this 5 day period please advise us. We will follow up your order immediately.
The delivery charge is calculated using the postcode you enter. At time of checkout the freight rate is calculated automatically. To quote a few examples: Adelaide Metro = $7 for 1 carton, $10 for 2 cartons; Brisbane and Gold Coast Metro = $17.50 for 1 carton and 20% discount off the freight for the second carton. A good way to know for sure what you will be charged, is simply select the beers you want, go to checkout and then take the next step to have your freight quoted.
Can I pickup my order to save on freight?
Yes you certainly can. Our warehouse is located nice and centrally in Thebarton, South Australia. The address is :

All you need to do is select PICKUP as the shipping method at the time of checkout, then finalise and pay for the order. Once this is complete, we will email you when your order is ready to pickup, allow 48 hours (often less than that). As a guide, if you place your order with us by 9am Mon-Fri, we will usually have your order ready by 1pm the same day.

If you have been told that a refund is being processed in your favour, then please allow 48-72 hours for it to be processed. This time will vary depending on the refund method. If you have not received your refund within this period please advise us. We will follow up your order immediately.

Sorry, it is illegal in Australia to sell alcohol to persons under the age of 18. Real bier education can only start when you are 18 anyway!

A offer given by the shop for a discount when purchasing from our store. It must be entered into the Coupon section at checkout only when you as a registered customer are logged in.
I made a mistake on my order, how do I correct this?
Either by deleting the item from your shopping cart or updating the amount at checkout. If your order has already been processed, get in touch with us asap on 08 8463 1191.
