As most lovers of cask ale know, water is the most important ingredient in beer, and Bombardier has an enviable natural advantage over other premium bitters; it is uniquely brewed using natural mineral water from an independently accredited source - their own well. Bombardier uses only the most flavoursome part of the ripest, hand sampled English hops to guarantee a delicious sultana fruit taste and a wonderful, spicy aroma. The brewers also use more malt per pint than other premium bitters and our English 'Crystal' malt is carefully crushed, not ground, to deliver the rich flavour and deep copper colour for which Bombardier is renowned.

What we say.....
The Bombardier is slightly more malty than other ESB's on the market. While, still maintaining it's hoppy bitterness through the use of Challenger and Golding hops. In England, this would be served over the bar from a cask creating more 'woody' characteristics. The Bombardier is not brewed to be drunk cold instead drink it closer to room temperature.
